How to get sermons through iTunes


If you would like to get the weekly sermons through iTunes, the basic instructions are listed below. If you just want to listen to a sermon you can go directly to the sermon download page. Also through iTunes, you can "subscribe" to the CCC sermon podcast and every time a new sermon is put online, it will be automatically downloaded on your computer. Here are the instructions for using iTunes to listen to the sermons:

Make sure you have iTunes installed

FIrst of all, you need the iTunes software installed on your computer. (If it is already installed you should be able to open it via START > Programs > iTunes > iTunes, or if you're using a mac... well, it's already installed.) If you do not yet have it, you can click on "Free Download" at itunes.com.

Make sure it's a recent version

Once you install (or make sure you have installed) iTunes, go ahead and open it. On the left side of the screen you should have several categories and folders (eg. Library, Videos Top Rated, Music Store, etc.). One of them (near the top) should be labeled "Podcasts". If podcasts is not on your list, you probably have an older version of iTunes. If so, go to itunes.com and download the most recent version.

Search for Christ Community

Click on "iTunes Store" in the left panel to be taken to the music store. Then, type "Christ Community Ruston" in the search bar at the top right of the window. (Underneath the search bar it should say "Search iTunes Store").

Subscribe to the Podcast

Once you search for CCC, we should be toward the top of the results in the podcast section. The name of the podcast is "Christ Community Church [CCC]- Ruston, LA". (it says clean next to it). If you want to automatically receive new sermons as they are released just click on "subscribe" to the right of our podcast. If you just want to get a specific sermon, click on the picture or name of the podcast. This will take you to a page with a list of all of the available sermons. Click "Get Episode" to the far right of the episode you want to download it, and it will be added to your iTunes music library. Once it is downloaded you can click on "Library" (to the far left of iTunes) and it will be listed among the songs that you have on your computer. Double click to play.
